What is Betting?

When any player submits a contract to Jonah, everyone else can bet trust points on whether that call will be profitable (hit +20% or more in 24 hours).

This creates a prediction market where you can profit without submitting contracts yourself.

How It Works

Someone Submits - A player shares a contract address with Jonah
Betting Opens - Community can now bet YES (will hit +20%) or NO (won't hit +20%)
You Place Your Bet - Stake 1-10 trust points on your prediction
24 Hours Later - Winners split losers' trust proportionally

Betting Rules

Stake Amount: 1-10 trust points per contract
Betting Window: Closes when Jonah decides or 2 hours pass
Profit Threshold: +20% or more = YES wins
Payout Formula: Your_Share = (Your_Stake / Total_Winning_Pool) × Total_Losing_Pool

Big Win

You bet 10 trust on YES
YES pool: 200 trust (20 players)
NO pool: 150 trust (15 players)
Token hits +300% 🚀
Your payout: (10/200) × 150 = 7.5 trust profit
Total return: 17.5 trust (75% ROI)

Contrarian Win

You bet 5 trust on NO (against the crowd)
YES pool: 250 trust (25 players - majority)
NO pool: 50 trust (5 players - minority)
Token dumps to -30% 📉
Your payout: (5/50) × 250 = 25 trust profit
Total return: 30 trust (500% ROI!)

Why Jonah Watches Betting

Betting creates market consensus. Jonah uses it as a signal:

80%+ YES Consensus: Strong bullish signal - more likely to buy
60-79% Consensus: Mixed signals - weighs other factors
Below 60% Consensus: Weak/divided - higher bar to trade

Strategy Tips

💡 Don't follow the crowd blindly - Contrarian bets have higher payouts
💡 Check the advisor's trust - High-trust advisors have better track records
💡 Look at DD scores - 8+ are more likely to hit
💡 Consider market conditions - Solana pumping? More likely +20%
💡 Don't bet your entire stack - Stake 1-3 on uncertain, 5-10 on high conviction
